| Ported vs tfs
Would the twisted wedge heads yield as much power as ported pi heads

More by far. There is a reason that they cost so much money.

Ported pi heads only flow about 250 cfm at a stage 3 port which is about as big as it gets. Tfs heads flow nearly 260 out of the box before porting and on top of that with the way the valves are placed you can run a super massive lift cam and not worry about clearance.

If you are staying NA get the 38cc ones. They will bump up your compression to around 10.3:1. If you plan to go FI then get the 44cc set

the 44cc heads keep your compression stock(if your on stock shortblock) and the 38cc heads bump your compression about to around 10:5 like stated above..(if your on stock shortblock)
also some correction trickflow heads out the box flow 242 on the intake and 203 on the exhaust..that is at 600 lift...

Stock 02 GT motor. stock Comp 9.6-9.8:1
44cc TF heads-9.4:1
38cc TF heads-10.2:1
I wouldn't hesitate to run Boost on either of those ratios...just make sure the tune is good and 93 octane is a available.
Also for those wondering...
96-98 NPI shortblocks with stock heads-9.6-9.8:1 como
44cc TF heads-10:1
38cc TF heads-11:1
PI Heads-10.3
And on 03-up 32v shortblocks (mach 1, Avaitor, Marauder) 10.1:1
TF 44cc-11.4:1
TF 38cc-12.7:1
PI heads-11.8:1
Teksid Shortblocks...(mark Vii, 99/01 Cobra, 96-98 Cobra)-9.6-9.8:1
TF 44cc-10.8:1
TF 38cc-11.9:1
PI heads-11.1:1
HOpe this helps. You can mix and match some good bottom ends with PI/TF heads and get some good compression to suit whatever you want to do. Good luck!
