Ecu question...

Hey sorry I have the dumb questions sometimes, but I really am just not sure. So I wanted to get the 4.75L long block from MMR next year. So do I use the same ecu? Just tune I after I put the motor in and set it up? Sorry I feel like I should know this but I I'm not quite sure...

Re: Ecu question...

Yes, thats what I did but i bought my engine local but make sure when you get it tuned you give them all the spec of the engine and mods you have done to the car to the shop thats tuning it. I mean you prolly could get a custom mail order tune from AM/ bama but I would rather want a tune with the car actually on a dyno and tuned that way. I would also recommend a tuner not a chip.

Bama will not tune for FI or cams or engine swaps. You'll have to take it to a dyno.

Yeah I had a feeling they didnt but when i bought my sct tuner before the motor swap I did have cams on there and told them about it when ordering. Im not sure if they did the tune based upon it though.
