Lower ball joints...

Ok so I noticed when I was replacing shock and struts, that my lower ball joints on my 00' gt were practically gone. Well no they are gone, so i have been looking around and pricing them online and such... Is this a job I can do on my own? Because I like to do little stuff like this on my own to kinda learn how, and for a know how experience, ya know... So any suggestions?..

Not hard of you have any mechincal know how. Get a balljoint remover kit from your local parts store. You'll have to put $ down but you'll get 100% back. Jack car up and place on jack stands then use your jack to slowly lower a arm to keep the spring from shooting out.

Re: Lower ball joints...

I don't want to be a penis but when one ball joint goes, the other one will too. In other words you replace ball joints in pairs kind or like shocks or struts.
