fuel injectors for S/C

I have a 2000 gt that has been rebuilt with forged crank and CNC ported heads and etc. I have a SCT MAF, and I was told I bought a 03 cobra fuel pump but it was a single hat pump setup. Im planning on getting a BAP along with that too. Long tubes, 70 mm throttle bottle and all you basic bolts ons with a tuner etc. Im planning on getting a vortec supercharger running 9-11 of boast so what size injectors would be good? I was look at 60 something lbs/hr...whatcha think?

Really going to depend on your car and what pump you have... With a single pump it might be hard to keep up with those larger injectors

Yea I was told that too but I dont want to buy them and they arent enough...ya know.

Far as the pump, it said 03-04 cobra on the ford box but ive found out that they were a dual hat system instead of just one pump.

With the cobra pump a boost a pump the 42 lb injectors can support up to 19 lbs of boost and close to 600 rwhp

My old set up was almost identical to yours. I was running single Ford GT supercar pump with BAP and 60lb injectors. I was running no more than 14 lbs of boost. The 60lbs are perfect.

I reused my factory Mustang GT fuel hat and installed a single Ford Gt pump with BAP. Get the 60lb injectors you are better to have too much injector then not enough plus if you ever want to increase power they will be there. You will likely only use 50% or less duty cycle. I am now running an 03-04 cobra tank with twin Ford GT pumps.

Re: fuel injectors for S/C

gotcha, im def going with that and like your idea....I rather have too much injector then not enough. Are putting the vortec supercharger kit on a pain or is it something that can be done in like a weekend?
