Follow up on my previous post

I just got under the car to install new after cat o2 sensor that the (check engine light) called for, and realized that the car had MIL eliminators on it, but both were connected together on the passenger side. Before I bought the mustang I never heard of them and now I see they are pretty common but I know that one was suposed to go on one side and one on the other side. I dont know but it just does not seem worth the trouble and money to take the cats out to me, especially if you do have to get an emission test. Guess im just venting, sorry. Anyways I hope this solves my problem and I can finally get my tag.

good luck! if all else fails. run tank to about 1/4 tank, put a full can of 44k in it and test it. mine passed this way with flying colors. I think emmisions were 1.23. where as before it was in the 4's!! I changed nothing on it. but 44k

Re: Follow up on my previous post

Im not really sure what the 44k is, but I did pass the emissions today and im glad, I spent around 500 bucks to reverse the crap somebody else did and pretty much make it stock exhaust except the single chamber flowmasters. I sounds good to me even with the cats on it so I doubt that I will take the chance to install a catless x or h pipe and ruin my sensors again.
