Yeah I already knew about them. I'm keeping tabs on them. But the intake says it shipped today so I figure about a week since its coming from Cali.

Well there's a set of 03/04 Cobra cams for sale on CL. Was wondering if they'd fit the B heads..

In my wu I explain that the navigator mach 1 03/04 and mark have the same cam profile. These cams are good for fi. The cobra (99-01) has a slightly more aggressive cam. But the 96-98 has the most aggressive. All will interchange.

Pretty cool they are interchangeable. Would it be smart to get Cobra heads (C heads, right) if you are going with those cams?

C head would a good. But an intake would currently for close to complete about 600 or so. But you have to even watch those as fellow mustang folk like to take off the throttle bracket and sell those for 100 by themselves. And the prices are getting worse. I have c heads but the intake is the issue. That's why I stuck with the b heads and mark intake. People want to milk parts prices.

Did you call your post master with the number and find out the issue? I know that I had the same issue with their tracking.

I agree, I'd be pissy about it too.

Yeah I called them and they said that it could be part of a pallet or something. That until a postal worker puts hands on it and scans it in that I will know nothing with the tracking number.

Monster Stang construction site. Experience required! Newbies beware. Just a compliment!

So, when you get that beast running, the question is what strange sounds it will make. Few of us improved folks have this phenomena and I think that each Stang has its own unique quirky sounds. Lol. Can't wait to find out yours.

So here is an update. I recently purchased a 99-01 Cobra intake . I received it today only to have it be not what I ordered. I received a timing and alternator. I am so furious right now. I hope this gets resolved fast.

I was so livid when I seen it. I not thing there is a way to fix it, maybe rig it but I dont want to do that, I found a lower for 300 plus 50 shipping. that just under what I paid for the all that I got. So I hope this resolves quickly in my favor, I get that and all is well. but I would be stuck with 3 cobra/mach 1 fuel rails. lol. I do have a set of Ev6 24lbs injectors and rail, that need to go. Here are some clearer photos. And the piece fell off.

The 01 Cobra intake is the revised version which I believe is the same as a Mach 1. The upper part is different on the Mach 1 it has the bolt hole for the shaker system.

---------- Post added at 04:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:14 AM ----------

I think of things go south and I get screwed I'm going to try a large washer to put some hold down pressure on the intake in that spot.

That's why I wanted to buy a Mach intake.... I didn't want the emblem... Just hard to find a good intake that hasn't been messed with
