Oh and you can make a restrictor plate for the iac that stops that hanging idle
The IAC on both Mach/Cobra and 97-98 Mark are locted on the Intake. The Mach/Cobra combo has a nipple near the IAC as a bypass. Sort of like the GT has its nipple on the IAC it self. The Mark however, though having the IAC mounted on the intake it has no nipple for this. Instead it is made in the TB itself. The first photo added is a Cobra setup, then a Mark TB.

Nice for you. Kentucky has been bad this year about the heat. I'm so investing in a house with a A/C garage next time I move. Then I can have my project at home instead of work!!

Yup, that would be sweet. I'm hoping to build a new garage here within 5 years with plenty of work space.

I primed it before we left with black and it's as slick and smooth a car as you could ask for!!! I was amazed by how straight it is!!!

Nice, you da man! I need to learn from your acquiring skills.

I've always liked the SS Monte's from the 80's. I remember drooling when they came out! Is that the one your putting the paint down on?

Yes it is! We took it for trade on a s10..... Ugly truck but this guy liked that truck. Had to put a good sealer primer on it cause there was no paint on it when we got it. Yeah it's nice just one dent to fix in the passenger door.

That's true! And you see a lot of those still in good shape, sadly. Not sure what Chevy was thinking when they did that.

Drove it twice . Waiting on an email tune for it. I think I'm gonna have to replace the lifters at least on my passenger side. I hear some excessive ticking. Not bad though. Gotta check my headers to see if they are leaking. The car drives rougher than stock for some reason. Not sure why. It feels good, pulls awsome. Didn't do to much driving as I'm still in the break in though. I've try to get some video of it. When I get things squared away.

Rough idling and revving? If so, I could see a tune cleaning that up..?

Nope the idle is fine, just runs rich. I'm running 24's with a cobra MAF so my ecm is alittle off. The car idles at 1k then goes normal on a stop. My 2v did this as well just not at 1k. The tune is to fix my fuel curve and timing. And to get correct MAF function as well as turn off my EGR, rear O2's and so on.

Not clowns. They just have bad taste. I seen that one when I checked out the swap video.

Hard to hold back I'm sure! Too bad we're not close. It would be cool to compare between our cars. Yours isn't stock though hehe!

hey got a question? have you lowered your mach? if so what did you do with the stock springs? My car is closer to the moon now and GT springs are taller than the Machs. Ford lowered them from the factory.

I believe I'm still at factory height. I heard they were a little lower than stock GTs. Sorry man!
