I sure will, it maybe a few though. Right now I'm getting an email tune eventually I will get it turned on the dyno. I put another 100 miles on it today. Still has some exhaust bugs to work out. This time I used AC to put changing loads on the motor. Never lost oil press and the coolant budged from the norm. Love driving it. With the weight gonna off the front it feels beteer

That's awesome! Hope you get your exhaust sorted out. If its any consolation, I'm still struggling to get my tune straight.

Sorry I haven't responded to this post earlier. Now as in "track" do you mean quarter mile or drag strip? No I have not as my car isn't build for those intentions. But I can answer you like this. If you like to have what seems to be endless amount of upper power. If you like the better throttle response when you hit the gas. If you would love to have about 100lbs taken off the front of the car, then I would have to say yes. The 32v engine is a far better starting platform for power. Now with that said there are some trade offs as there are to just about everything. If you look at advertised specs you'd see that the 98 cobra had 300ft lbs of torque where as the 99-up gt has 302ft-lbs. Difference is in the top end. with that said its like this, what ever the 2v can do the same modded 4v can do better.

All I can say is if you decide to do a mark swap. Is to take your time and do your homework. Know what you want and not what the peanut gallery tells you. If budget is in mind you can stay 2v but use the benefits of the aluminum block. There are so many options available to you. My writeup is meant to inspire and inform. Ive listed parts some cost, and some good ol' ingenuity. Whether you want to go C head or stay with the early B head, theres info there. I am always updating the file with more stuff. Im looking for this to spread threw out the mustang community. Any questions dont hesitate to ask.

Got what I think is a header leak, (very small) and my rear passenger pipe is knocking on my frame alittle back there near the tail. Im gonna try to get it straight this Saturday. Should have a better vid soon with the camera in a better spot. LOL. that was taken with the window down as well. Sounds wicked doesn't it?

Yup, sounds great! Yeah, I love the sound when you get up above 5,000RPM. I should take video of my ride sound. Even though it's Flowmaster muffler delete, it still sounds Bad A$$!

The car is far from perfect. Was still dirty in the pics but that's before any wax has been put on it.

Your running the cop set up correct? And also is your speedo calibrated for the wheels? Seems like your rpm's a little high for 3.73 gears and 75 mph

---------- Post added at 07:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:15 AM ----------

FYI nomad I signed up for SCT's online tuning courses so I will be able to tune for you guys when and during the time. Just waiting to hear back from them.

I just finished making a vid of RPMs at 75 and a downshift into 3rd. It should be available now.

I noticed that you rolled down the window in the video. Tthe last video that I did was with the window closed the entire time. try down shifting into 3rd at 70-75 next time youll like it. But do you see where im hindered by rev limiter. While the Mach can rev past 6k there is a difference of 1k between the two. GT's 5850 rpm limit vs the mach's 6850rpm limit. Hell in that vid im not in my powerband, I was just getting there.

Yup, I was gonna say you might wanna pickup a Mach1 gauge cluster. I've never bounced off of the rev limiter. I think it's 7050.

I should have kept the winders up

I like how the Borla's sound. Magnaflow Magnapacks are cool too. Those might be too loud for your setup...?

And, you need that extra flow to really get the most out of your internal updates. I wonder what your HP would be at the crank?

Eventually I'll get a dyno tune done. Right now we are gearing up for Mustang Alley that's next weekend. Hopfully I get the tune in time. It said 5 to 10 days and the 10th day was Friday. So I'm hoping Monday I should have it. You should look at my drive by video on the tube. Those are with the same cat back on the 2v.
