I did the rotors and calipers. Direct replacement. No need to do spindles and whatnot. Awesome improvement along with steel braided lines.

Went from the standard gt brakes to the cobra brakes in my mach 1 and they are a huge difference. Initial bite is way better and the fade takes longer and it dissipates quicker. Get a drilled and slotted set if rotors and be careful not to step on the brakes while fully stopped. That's what causes warping more than anything. Someday I would like to upgrade to a full floating baer 6 piston front brakes and ill try custom fit the cobra brakes to the rear. Should get 60-0 down to 100ft.

What mach1 do you have? The bullitt, cobra, and Mach brakes are all the same, just different logos on them ..

+1 the 03/04 mach 1's came with the same aluminum dual piston calipers and brembo 13" rotors.

As said the logos are the only difference..."cobra" on the 99/01 and 03/04's and the white running pony on the bullitts.

The mach's didn't have any logos, just the anodized finish.

Or did you get the big brembos from the 00 Cobra R?

I know. Its an 03 with the twin piston brakes. I've actually seen mach1s that came with the cobra stamped calipers. Some of the 04 machs got them because of a surplus.
