Need rim help!! - Mustang Evolution

Need rim help!!

K so I neglected my car a little due to some recent events and now I have a issue. I did not get the break dust off my rims in time and. Ow the aluminum lip has some black dots on them that I have not been able to get off...any suggestions?

Hit the lip with a good degreaser or bug and tar remover then some Mothers aluminum polish they got little jars at Walmart pep boys autozone or where ever like 5/7$. Its some very bad *** polish

Could be something other than brake dust. I'd start with a heavy degreaser and work my way from there. May be kinda gross but have you tried picking those black spots with your fingernails, just to see how stuck they are? Some @$$hat dropped a whole bucket of paint in the road in my neighborhood, which looked dry. Yeah it wasn't and I flung it all over my wheelwell. Figured out it didn't bond very well to my inner wheelhouses and paint, and was able to pick a lot of it off and pressure wash the rest.

Go get some "Never Dull" at auto zone. It's like 5 bucks. Rub that on an buff it off with a soft towel and it will shine like new

Yes I have and it comes off with a little force...it's grimy though not like paint..more like really dry grease and dirt
