There's a list of "adds", and everyone has their own list, so rather than getting into a paragraph of items, I'll just say first get: Exhaust and Intake.

Lol I love KATO's response..but I'll give you a list, leaving actual vendors to your choosing.

Exhaust
Intake
Tune
Gears
Throttle body/plenum
Lowering springs
Shocks/struts
Caster camber plates

That's a nice little starting list...I think I may have forgot something but can't think of it ATM.

Do you replace/upgrade the intake so high on "the list" cause there are plastic intakes on some cars or cause they provide larger benefits? I'm not that familiar with which years had plastic intakes. Once I heard about it, I was taken back cause it seemed like such a stupid thing for Ford to do.

Decide what you want to do with the car first!.. Then you can make your "to do" list!..

I put it high, because it is a good add-on, not too expensive, and it does contribute to a slight change in the sound of the car, the Exhaust helps the sound more. You get slight gains with the Intake and the Exhaust, but it is slight. For more noticable gains, you have to spend more money and get more, more stuff.

Cool, and prob something many ppl can do themselves, I suppose. So do you know what years the stock intake manifolds were made out of plastic?

We r talking about cold air intake....as far a I know all new edge mustangs have plastic intakes just the newer ones have an aluminum coolant tube on them cause the plastic one kept busting
