discoveries

So my car was a previous repo, Discovered today that i have a pro 5.0 short throw shifter. (which i think is crap) and also discovered a prochamber mid pipe. Mufflers i have no idea what they are, but every where i go i get compliments on it.

are there any gains with the prochamber like an x-pipe?

If you think the pro 5.0 is crap you may just have the handle and a stock plate. If you have the whole set up then the stops may be adjusted incorrectly.

There are stoppers top and bottom with jam nuts, to keep you from over shifting and bending shift forks. It should go in gear but not be pressed back against the synchro

You may get 1-3 hp more out of a x...but I think pro chamber sounds soooo much better

The main performance diff is X is better up top and H is better on the low end. H also has a lower/deeper sound ppl say is classic sounding an the X has a louder raspy sound. Personally I prefer the H because the X is too raspy for my taste unless you are talking about an X w/ high flow cars.
