Project Build

Well I had to pull my engine due to a broken rod on start up in my drive way... I figured I start a project thread to show my progress. I pulled the engine without a lift Sunday afternoon. I also got offered a donor engine at a local mechanic shop from a 2001 mustang. The owner will pay me to pull and replace this guys engine plus I'll get a free core to build from sense my engine has a huge hole in it. Below are pictures of what if done so far I didn't take many while pulling the engine because I didn't want to keep washing my hands over n over to pick up my phone lol.

I'm unsure the guy had them on the car when I bought it 6 months ago. They look fairly new.

Take pics of the damage and post it. Could be a learning experience for all of us. Also let know what you think caused the malfunction/damage. I am eager to know. No, we won't bang you up if it was your fault, just learn from your experience.
