tuning question

If you bought a Mustang GT that was already tuned with a handheld tuner (and don't have the tuner) what do you have to do to set the car back to stock tuning?

Thanx...

Re: tuning question

That's one question I don't know the answer to...I'd try to get the tuner if at all possible...

Re: tuning question

Pretty positive you can't without the tuner it has the stock tune loaded on it.

Re: tuning question

I think you either need the tuner, but if you take it to a ford dealership can't they re-flash the PCM back to the stock settings? i remember reading about this somewhere before.

Re: tuning question

So the dealership would be the advised route?
Any ideas on what they charge for this?
I'm not positive that the car has an altered tune, she just tends to ping under moderate acceleration in summer on 87 octane, so I have to run 91 all the time just to be safe.
