Re: Vortec supercharger

aw gotcha....guess im just going to get the kit with it. I found the kit I want for 2700 but it doesnt include the intercooler. If it came with the air to water cooler box I was going to build my own but I think I wouldnt say much.

Cool I was looking at different chargers too couldn't figure out which one to go with.

I thought I saw something intercooled and cheaper than 3990 at AM for 99 GT No?

How important is ic first off? I would do 2700 then ic a couple months later?

Thanks this will be my first sc car sorry about dumb questions.

Re: Vortec supercharger

I didnt see one on AM for under 3990 or at least not the one I want. On my other post someone said a IC is good for more HP and keeping the air cooled and not causing the SC to burn up. Im just going to by the kit because I can do it all at one time. Also, I want one that comes with a blow off valve or bypass value I think that is what the call it .

Hey guys I was looking @ the 2700 one and saw it says it doesn't include engine and fuel managment? Does this mean the fuel pump/injector upgrade or something else? Sorry I'm not too experience with this stuff...thnx

Re: Vortec supercharger

correct, its a tuner kit which means it doesnt come with any injectors, pump, and tuner/chip. Since I have my stuff already and im going to run a bigger injector then what it comes with, bigger pump, and a sct tuner. Tuner kits pretty much come with the supercharger and everything you need to install it minus everything you need to get it running, understand?
