Re: Tick

go to autozone or a autoparts store and buy this:
Lucas Oil/32 oz. synthetic oil stabilizer (10130) | Engine Additive and Cleaner | AutoZone.com

It helps with priming our lifters sounds like you might have one thats not priming or has a bad spring. Just try this before doing anything.

Autozone referred me to this stuff called oil detergent so I changed my oil this morning and put that in it. I haven't checked to see if it worked yet or not

Re: Tick

The only thing thats going to do is clean your engine out, it wont help prime the lifters. On that bottle I showed you it says "helps prime hydralic lifters" and I used it on mine when I had one that wasnt priming and it work. I dont think its going to help with your problem but never know you might get lucky...

The only time you would use oil detergent is if you dont change you oil on a reg basis but other then that its a waste of money. Most oils have a detergent in it unles it states "non-detergent oil".
