There are kits out there to do it, but I don't think it will clear the stock hood.

Just buy a centrifical unit that fits the car and don't go over 8 lbs. Fuel upgrades and a tune are definitely needed at a minimum for either

No I'd be willing to change the hood was thinking the termi one anyway but I'm getting the blower for under 300 so it would be a steal

Sounds like a steal until you have to buy all the other parts to do that swap. Tork tech makes a kit but you will spend way more going that route than a centrifugal style

It's really not that good of a blower, especially not intercooled

Re: 03-04 blower on a gt

they generally go for 300 bucks with low miles, or less. So 300 is a good deal on a good low mile blower, but its not something that never comes around.

Tork Tech - Home they have GT kits to put the 03/04 cobra blower on your car. The M112 Eaton from the 03/04 is not very good overall compared to aftermarket and generates a ton of eat. Its a root blower instead of a much better designed twin screw~ just FYI.

I would not run it without an intercooler, not sure if the kit offers that if not I would pass.

the Eaton vs a Twin screw (KB or Whipple) the twin screw is more efficient, runs cooler, and make MORE power per lb of boost. At the end of it though it doesnt matter as about 450rwhp is the limit for that motor, I would probably keep it around 400rwhp which stock is around 220~-230 in the manual so its possible but the M112 may not get you all the way there at 8psi~ probably will get you around 330rwhp.

Yea I was about to say the motor is stock so a budget blower and fuel setup will be 300+ to the wheels and a very fun mustang a supercharger whine! Do it!

If you looking at a somewhat cheap supercharger that will be better then the eaton you should look at the non intercooled 2.1 kenne bell. It would be a much more efficient version of the same that your eaton would be. And you can upgrade to intercooled down the road as well.

Re: 03-04 blower on a gt

root blowers, twin screw blowers, and other positive displacment blowers give great low end but do not give as good top end as Centrifugal style blowers so its a trade off.
