Fog lights and cigar lighters

Well as you guys know we just bought a 98 GT. I tried the fog lights and they are not working. Plugged in my phone charger to the cigar lighter and it isn't working either. Fuses checked good so I'm kinda lost. Power light on the fog switch isn't coming on either. Any ideas?

The switch may have burnt out or you have a bad relay in the fuse block in the engine bay

I know you said you checked the Fuses, But did you check (ALL) fuses good, cause they can be deceptive (appear as unbroken, but actually broken)? Something could be broken, that does not say it directly goes to lights or cigar lighter.

I did a visual check. I plan on test lighting all the fuses to see if they are good. Just figured you guys might know something I didn't. Like another fuse labeled for something that ties into the system.

There is a relay in the fuse block in the engine compartment that ties the system together if this relay is bad your fog lamps won't work

To test the relay you need to get a volt meter and if you never did it before check out a vid on you tube or get a repair manual it will explain how to test them

Lol yeah I know how. Been a Working on cars since I was 12. Started working professionally on them at 18. I'm 30 now. But would that relay also affect the cigar lighters as well?

There is a relay for the fog lamps and a seperate relay for the cigarette lighter I believe both relays are in the same line it tells you which one is which under the cover of the fuse block

I know I had an issue on my '99 of one of the two cig lighters stopped working. There were two different fuses that had to do with them.
