Question Chip vs. Tuner Which would be better and won't hurt the wallet?

Hey there,
Later down the road I really want to tune up the mustang and see what that V8 has. But I am puzzled on what to get i hear tuners are good and that chips screw up the transmission. But i just wanted to see what was good out there and won't cost me and arm and a leg. As always thanks for all the input.

A chip that's tuned correctly from a brand like sct is fine. If your car is 96+ get the tuner hands down.

SCT or Diablo.. Both have a few options I believe, although most here go SCT. Many offer SCT products but www.americanmuscle.com has a pretty good set up, selection, and great customer service.

I've got a Diablo Sport Predator and love it!.. But if I had to do it all over again I would probably do the SCT, for the simple fact that most shops use their stuff!..

Oh ya, Tuner over a chip for sure!..
