Exhaust Options.

Hey there,
I just trying to get some ideas for changing the exhaust on my 96 gt. Any recommendations that will make it sound good but without making the car sound ridiculous. I don't have emissions inspections down here in Florida so i am up for anything as long as it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for help!!

I have a Borla cat back with high flow cats and O/R x-pipe it sounds amazing and you will never have to worry about bad welds or rust problems.
Borla is a little more expensive but last triple the time of other brand of pipes.
Pypes is also a good brand and good sounding pipe along with megaflow.

Yes +1 borla is one of the best and sounds great! I have my borla paired up with a bassani x pipe and the sound is like no other mustang around here (except the 03 cobra rolling around lol) I havent experienced pypes yet but this Wednesday I will, going to be putting on the pypes longtubes!

You could get a MAC prochamber mid pipe it takes out the cats but it sounds amazing and it gives the car that old muscle car rumble. It's what I got on my car

Summit racing cat back it's 212$ and then if you don't like the sound by the mufflers switch them, the kit doesn't have them welded at all so you can swap what ever mufflers you want, you can have a cat back for like 350$

That's crazy man! Yup I love my sound too, it's not way over loud and annoying like a lot of mustangs around where I live I think it's the perfect tone.
