HELP

I bought my car with a
Procharger
Intercooler
Headers
Blah blah blah
It has a stock throttle body. I have a chance to get a BBK 75mm and was wondering how much of a difference this would make?
How easy is install?
Is it worth me buying it.

Thanks guys!

Well since your FI the 75 will be alot better over stock and you will really feel the difference in pickup and throttle.

I would say get it but is it just the throttle body or is it the plenum also? If its just the throttle body your better off getting a throttle body plenum combo

Re: HELP

its simple to install...four bolts, the spring, throttle cable and TPS ( if not equipped with it) You will just have to take the intake pipe off the Throttle body. Its easy nothing to it, if you can change you own oil you can do this.

Thanks. I'll do it in a couple days. Would I need a new tune for this mod?

Since he has a supercharger, should he go for a little bigger injectors to go along with the TB upgrade?

Cool! I would think a TB would do a lot for your car because of the SC. You already have modded your exhaust so now you can accept more air. Most likely will want a tune to make sure you don't detonate or run lean. southernstang00 may have some more to add to this, but I think this is right.

Correct, most of the time if you make big changes like going from stock TB to a bigger one its a good idea to get it changed in the computer or tuned. You def want to do this when changing injectors, I saw a article the other day in a magazine saying that if you change all three CAI, TB, and plenium its best to get a tune because of the more air into the engine even if it is running ok.

You don't need a tune for it but to get all the benefits from it you should get one.
I ran my car without a tune with full bolt on including a 70mm throttle body combo with plenum and it was fine but just got the SCT tuner with custom tunes and it really wakes it up you get a lot more out the mods.
Hope I helped out.
