Headers Help!

I have an 00' gt and I'm not sure which brand and length headers to get. I have an x-pipe with a catback magnaflow exhaust. I think the shorties wud fit the best but not sure. And I'm not sure wat brand to go with. Anyone able to help?

There's no real benefit going through the trouble of putting shortys on our cars. If you're going to bother doing headers, do long tubes. Still, if you're set on doing shortys, BBK and JBA make a nice set of shortys. Sure you will see a gain, but only a little over the stock manifolds. Headers on these cars suck *** to do, and if you're gonna do it, go big or go home.

That is true I was originally going to do the long tubes but I don't think they wud fit n I'd prob have to then get rid of the x n get an h pipe would I?

You would have to buy a new Midpipe to match the long tubes, but they make x pipes that match up to long tubes.

Yea that's what I thought. I guess all it comes down to now is if I wanna spend the few extra bucks n get a new mid pipe
