I'm not sure. Last year I bought a 2011 ford ranger new payed cash and got them to give it to me for 17K window sticker said 24k they gave me a better deal because I was ready to pay. Not sure if that's typical tho. That's the only new vehicle I've ever bought.

Theres not much difference in sticker prices but the 12's have much better rebates and the dealers will be more willing to work with you on them because they would rather sell them to you than have them languish on the lot and lose value

Not only would it probably be faster but it would be an awesome experiences king the car your own and I doubt it would cost any wear near new GT price

The only thing that sucks about getting a new car is you always regret it when the next model year comes out!! But the '13 mustang is just... wow

The 13's changes were all cosmetic so I didn't regret owning an older model. I've grown attached to the simplicity of the lines of my 11 and it would take a pretty significant power boost on a new GT for me to harbor any regrets.

True if your looking at the power aspect. But to me, the mustang is a statement! Its a beautiful car and widely discussed each new year about its looks so if its power you want go with a 12. If its looks you want then go with the 13. Its newest changes awesome plus the track app would be a cool feature as well

I think you would be very pleased with an 11 or 12 GT, have you test driven one?

Yeah I drove a 12 Gt last year at the dealership, HUGE difference from my New Edge. And I rode in a friends new 13 Gt at cruise night a while back...i think I left an imprint in the passenger seat from being sucked into it every time he would put the pedal on the floor. Lol

I wonder how hard it would actually be to stuff this thing in there. I know where I can get a transmission and wire harness...

What do you guys think? At this point, anything is possible

It would be pretty awesome to see the coyote or aluminator stuffed into the new edge, if money is no issue and you have the patience I say do that. Otherwise buy a 11+

Not sure. I would think there would be some cutting required though and would probably need a completely different powertrain. Everything from engine, tranny, DS, accessory drive, brakes... Basically the only thing you would be able to keep is...... The body? Lol

Re: Possibly getting a '13 Gt.

Personallllllllly... I'd get a Termi. The New Edge, although not the fastest, is by far the sexiest Mustang model I've seen... Get the Termi, and whipple it, then with the left over 15k, go pay off a chunk of a house

I've been debating over this for about a month and ive decided that I want a 13 after I get out of basic simply because I want something brand new so I know every single thing thats done to it and plus I want to hve something with really low miles even tho mine only has 70,000. I just want everything to be the way I want it and I think its going to be one of the last mustangs that actually looks decent just my opinion.

Once you get done with everything and your back at home call USAA and you will get a better loan and rates for auto loan and insurance as well. Any questions about it then PM cuz i use them and wow is all I can say.

Im thinking the 13 or a termi. Ive found countless terminators for around $20k, plus I like the body better
