Slp lm1 question

What would be the best mid pipe to get that has to be catted for emissions that would sound great with my slp lm1 cat back?

Does a mid pipe make the idle sound louder?

Re: Slp lm1 question

A higher flow set of cats and a mid pipe will give it a bit more tone at idle. With those SLP LM's you should have a real aggressive tone as is.

Okay good but it seems like the idle when it's not a cold start is not that loud but the slp catted x will be a little bit louder? Does it sound really sound good while driving and make it better sounding with the x? What I'm trying to get at is it worth the money to get it?

I'd go with a prochamber or h pipe. They have a deeper tone than the x.

I dunno. You could get a weld in one I believe then use your stock cats. Could be wrong though

Do they run a check on the cats or just make sure they are on the car?

They don't even check they just see if it passes the emissions test.

Your mid pipe is your h or x.... You need to see what they check on emissions there.
