This a newer trade proposal? Does that 94 or 95 have that 5.0 pictured in it?

Please don't trade it un-less for something around the same year and is as nice as yours.
I hate to see you trade your beautiful car for something and down the road you regret it.

Do have time to wait a few weeks or months before making this decision?

I like all three cars you've posted in this thread. While I'm partial to the 5.0s, the 96-98 Cobras are beast. Your car looks great too! I don't really know what issues you're having with it though.

All three look really clean (aside from the cheezy "SVT" stick-on letters on the Cobra) but all we're seeing is a sideshot of each. It's really going to depend on each individual vehicles condition. You'll just have to test drive each one! Lol.

I would have a REALLY hard time picking one for myself. From your posts, though, it's clear you're missin' the ole 302.

Think about this: you've owned a 94-95 GT, a 96-98 GT, and a 99-04 GT, but have you owned a 96-98 Cobra? How many opportunities like this do you think you will get?

Did he respond to your ad or you to his? If he wants to sell the car bad enough, he'd atleast meet you halfway.

I'm gonna speak from experience here, I know that Cobra is nice, but try to stay away from a Reconstructed Title if possible.. It was a NIGHTMARE to get rid of my old GT.. Just food for thought.

If you get that 5.0. I would just pick up a set of trickflow heads for 1100$. You will need pushrods to run it.100$. A used gt40/cobra Intake 100$ and a cam for 250 ish. Then buy your gasket set and you will smoke the cobra all day long. I would do this if over the gt40 setup. With the 900 worth of parts to sell. Get an exhaust, maf, and throttle body. And you will be doing good

He responded to my add but he acts as of my car needing all the work it needs is a rough deal on his part and I should drive all the way

I wouldn't get it if you don't feel right about. I was trying to give you the best method of building with the cash you would have. Happy trading!

I know yours is a rebuilt too, but what I'm saying is, is that if you can get out from underneath it, do it.
