Re: Plasti dip bullitt wheels

I dipped the bullits and masked the lip. Looked good to me. Btw I realize the pics are of a yellow car then a black car... It's the same car. I'm repainting it right now. Haha

Beside the fact that the previous paint job sucked *** and had orange peel and texture everywhere? No. I liked my car yellow; looked pretty sick.

However this custom color we made is a black with red pearl and has almost zero texture and absolutely no orange peel so far. It's a mirror-like finish. Apparently it's a roughly $12k paint job. D: And anyway... Black is such a sexy color on these cars.

You have to make sure the rim is very clean and be careful around edges. My rims stayed pretty perfect for nearly seven months until this rebuild in which I peeled it all off.

I'm on Florida too so I know what you mean. Working on my car the other day it was hot as heck one minute and the next I was taking shelter from rain and lightning. Wheels look good though.

Rustoleum spray paint. Clean rims real good, scuff with scotch bright pad, rub with rubbing alcohol. Mask lip and paint. Thin coats, let dry real good
