Re: Mach 1 chin spoiler

how'd you have issues putting it on? did you mount it from the wheel wells or did you try mounting it flush with the front? looks good btw

Yea made it flush with the front I did have it duck taped with the wheel wells and I really didn't like it that much (it was a tough chose ) I think I'll look good when I lower it , i had issues because I didn't have a jack.... My drive way is steep at the end so I just used that and I didn't have much room for the drill

I like it a lot I didn't think it would change the look of the car that much 10+

it's supposed to be flush with the wheel wells not the front...at least that's how an oem mach lip fits. lol but to each their own as long as you like how it looks. i can't stand the gap at the wheel wells though so i went for the oem fit

Yea ik lol , I think it looks clean both ways , if I get annoyed by the gap I'll just scoot it back with the wheel wells

I have seen it done and it looks good...When I put mine on I had some lens tint in a spray can and I sprayed mine with it to see what it looks like. To my suprise it matched the color of my car and looks good lol.

Are the chin spoilers pre- molded or do you have to shape it as you install it?

Just make sure when you go up inclines like drive ways and such. Go slower then you usually would until you get used to that chin. Hit that incline a little too fast and you'll end up scuffing it like I did. Yes I know I'm dumb and should of known better but it's worth mentioning. Lol I've boycotted that sonic ever since >

Mine was a pain in the a** to install even when it was jacked up. American muscle sends them all bent up and I let it sit for 2 days but it still wasn't perfect. Oh well it still looks good to me
