Best Priced 4.10, where?

Anyone know where I can get a good deal on the install kit for 4.10 Gears, bearings, and oil? I know about AM and LateModel but are there anymore reputable websites, Including discount codes?

CrookedHalos,

There's a bunch of great company's out there. We can definitely set you with a discounted price for purchasing it all at once! We offer a 6% forums discount for all active posting members with a minimum of 50 post, PM me & I'll hook you up!

We also offer price matching, so if you find the set up cheaper anywhere else but want to shop with AM, we can definitely hook you up!

Let me know if I can be of any assistance!

- Dan

I ordered everything from AM. Their prices are typically the lowest and that coupled with free shipping and awesome customer support makes it a no brainer imo. Just my two cents.

Dude 4.10s are kinda tricky to drive. My stang jumps a lot if your not careful. And to make sure it wasn't me, I had a friend who used to drag drive it and he thinks its a little tricky. But they sure are hella fun!

If you have an auto I would even suggest looking at 4.30s.. An auto 4.30 is like a 5speed 4.10.

Also if you drive it all nice-like you will see an increase in city mpg. Or at the very least you will not see a decrease.

Like I tell everyone. My 2002 GT has 4.10s and it's a 5-speed. I get roughly 20 mixed mpg.

They are a lot different to drive than stock 3.27s. But you get the hang of it quickly. Driving mine it's very smooth and pretty. Just takes a bit to figure out.

But you having an auto it'll be okay. Just make sure you have a tuner to retune your WOT shift points as well as your speedometer.

I noticed a nice 2mpg improvement over old gears but that was only in the "break in" time............ if you catch what im saying go 4.10's (thats what i have) soooooo much fun! Dont forget to retune your ecu cuz your speedo will be angry with you
