TOB replacement

How difficult is it to replace the throw out bearing on my T-45. The sqeaking noise is driving me nuts. I'm new to the 5 speed world, but have access to a lift.. I'm assuming that I disconnect my negative battery, unbolt the driveshaft, crossmember, disconnect all electrical connections, and then just unbolt the ...x... Number of bolts from the tranny to the block, then swap it out? I looked it up on my Haynes manual but just want to know if there is anything very challenging or some specific/unique tools I will need other than air ratchets/torque wrenches. Ohh do I also have to remove the entire shifter? Thanks guys new to this and can't standnthe squeaking noise it's making, but don't wan
t to pay someone if I can do it myself with a friend. Ohh and replacement part should I just buy it from ford or is there a better one to buy. Any way to keep it from squeaking in the future?

I replaced one with a centerforce TOB. I took out, replaced, and reinstalled my trans by myself without a lift. That was the first time I did anything of that nature and it wasn't that hard at all. I changed out clutch, TOB, pilot bearing, flywheel, clutch fork, clutch cable, and quadrant while I was in there.
