Broken Clutch Cable

I was out driving around tonight and I was shifting from 3rd to 4th and my cable snapped and my pedal just flopped. Is there a certain brand I should get to replace it? Is it difficult to replace? Any other advice for this situation?

Pretty easy. I'd suggest getting a oem replacement or a brand that uses oem cables like maximum motorsports

Can the OEM cable be used with everything else being stock or do I need to buy additional parts?

Re: Broken Clutch Cable

OEM, aftermarkets are known to stretch out quick, just stay OEM.

I bought a Steeda kit. However, if the input shaft is not lubed the clutch gets stiff, hence stretched cable.

Exactly. No need to buy an adjustable cable when you can buy a firewall adjuster and adjust it that way.
