Get rid of a "tune" ?

I have a 2002 GT Mustang I just bought... It came with a tuner married to the car. I dot like the tune at all and rather just get rid of it all together and go back to I guess the factory tune? I don't know much about Mustangs yet but this tune I think is making the car idle at 2k RPM so when I put it in reverse and barely add gas I'm going in reverse at 20 MPH kinda bad in a walmart parking lot haha. Is there anyway just to get rid of the tune all together?

With the tuner it should have the stock tune on there and you should be able to just connect it and return the car back to the stock tune.

if your vehicle has modifications that require a tune and you remove it the result could be a car that is not safe. What mods do you have?

Couldn't he just go to a tune shop and have them lower the idle speed without a whole new tune?

Check your tps sensor first. Mine crapped out and stayed at 2k no matter what. You can check that by when it gets hung at 2k just unplug the tps and see if it drops
