Um well you would need an 8.8 axle swap first. That 7.5 would blow up the minute you put sticky tires on. Otherwise 3.73s or 4.10s. Also go look at ColeJohnsons sig, he has a good link about gears in it.

Kenne bell procharger?? Maybe u meant supercharger. And in response to your question- that depends what tranny your going to be using. Automatic or stick?

Re: need ideas...

If you have a 2000 GT why did you put a 7.5" in? They come with an 8.8" with 3.27's from the factory.

Just confused with that one...

I would say a 3.73 or 3.90 ratio would be best for a high hp profile like that. 4.10's+ always provide you with "more" but you may want that 1st or even 2nd gear at times.

Re: need ideas...

Im a little confuse on why you put a smaller rear end in a car that has a big one to start with. Anyways, far as gears I would say 373 with a stick supercharged car. So where you can have some what of a first and 2nd when you need it. Im going with 373 cuz its a all around gear.

So you put a v6 rear end? You can find a 8.8 for $150 in any junkyard. Any ways go with 3.73s great for a blown car 4.10s are good but if you daily drive your car the 3.73s are perfect

It should be a 8.8 with a Ford Trac-Lok

do a burnout and see if you leave 2 tire marks on each side of the car ..

Re: need ideas...

not trying to change the subject, but can anyone give a suggestion for wheels and suspension. i just got a stang about a week ago and discovered the suspension is done and the wheels are not the best either. i want to go staggered wheels and a suspension that will lower the car some to give it an aggressive stance. any ideas out there?

Hop onto AmericanMuscle.com they have a great selection of everything for our cars. I personally like H&R springs, I have a set of their race springs on my car now. The best way to get your questions answered as best as possible would be to start your own thread.
