Diablo programmer help!

Have a 99 mustang gt with some tasteful mods and when I plugged the diablo programmer on and put the 93 octane performance tune on it made my car slower.. Any helpful ideas?

Well I advanced timing by 1 degrees and added a little more fuel going in there to make up for all the air upgrades that I have done to the car. Indont notice a difference but all my friends say its faster

Not trying to make you sound dumb but is 93 octane fuel in the tank? If you have 87 octane then that's the problem.

+1 it's a common mistake but if the tune is for 93 octane you must make sure that you have 93 octane fuel in your take at all times while using that tune. Try switching to the 87/89 tune and when you get low on gas fill up with 93 then flash the 93 tune

Aw well sorry that wasn't the case man and anytime, we're always here to help, but maybe you should give diablo tech support a call to see what they say

Ur mods are the same as mine I dnt understand why it makes your car feel slower. My diablo instantly makes mine instantly feel more powerful.

You can get one from American Muscle but I recommend getting the SCT tuner from them. They give you free tunes for life so if you mod your car at all it can be tuned just right.

It also depends on what gas station you go to
