Leaded or unleaded

I have a 99 mustang gt 4.6 and I currently use 94 octane unleaded just wanted to know if I could add that additive that you have to use in the older cars? And the pros vs cons?

Imo if you don't have a supercharger or aftermarket heads and cam , you're wasting you're time with anything higher than what the manufacture recommends which is 87 unless you have a custom tune that requires any thing higher

I was told 4.6 is high compression so it runs better with higher octane ? But back to the leaded flue? Can it be used ?

Re: Leaded or unleaded

i dont think their very high compression unless your running a pi swap on a 96-98, or h/c/i i think its like 9.5/1 stock i may be wrong, but 87 can be used, but imo i get a lil bit better gas milage out of 93.

You can buy it as race fuel and use it in any car, but it will wreak havoc on emission systems.

No pros only cons for using the leaded additive in newer cars.
