How much does it cost to cam a 2003 GT?

How much does it cost to cam a GT if I do all of the labor?

Stage 2 comp cams are like 600 I would go on and upgrade the beehive springs and valve retainers that's.another 300 roughly

I think the cames where 600-700 depending on what size and brand for a pair and if you do springs I think they were like 150? Gaskets maybe 40-60 bucks oil change...whatever it is for you.

What about degreeing the cams?? How do I do that or how much does it cost?

Idont think the springs were that much...comp cams was going to sell them to me directly for 150.

with comp cams I didnt degree them I dont think you have to on this engines. As long as you make sure you cyn 1 is TDC and you know where the markings go far as timing thats all I did.

I think they were almost 200 on am its been.a while.since I looked I'm sire I'm off by.a lot.lol but the retainers are like 65 I think

Hmm, maybe they were giving me a hell of a discount then and I want to say the retainers were with them, that I'm sure of though. If I was at home I could prolly get the cams alot cheaper then anyone else is selling them for.

Oh yea, you will need two new cam bolts, they are a one TQ yeild bolt I found that out the hard way....you can get them at ford for like ten bucks EA but they are the same bolt as the crank one.
