you can get your tips welded on to where you cut the tail pipe off behind your muffler.

Re: Dump exhaust question.

many do, they are fake but you can keep them~ some have cutouts that turn on/off so you can run out back or dump as well

Thanks! I'm thinking of dumping my exhaust but I still wanna keep my cool looking tips.

Another question.. Do you all think it would sound louder and meaner if I did that?

not if u just cut it but yes if you do cutouts

cutouts allow you to have the full exhaust and hit a switch and it dumps the exhaust before or after the muffler depending on where you install it

You can get the electric cutouts with any exhaust system, it all just depends in where you want to have it located, a buddy of mine has it right after the headers and when it's open they are stupid loud but you can put them where ever you want to cut and weld them in, after headers, after midpipe, after mufflers or before the mufflers it just all depends in where you want it.

Where would you say it sounds the best and loud cause I was thinking right after the muffler? But would that make it louder than my exhaust now or would I be better to put it right before the muffler?
