Re: Cowl hood. What u guys think?

i bet thats a mr body kit fiberglass one....they run $319 new on their website unpainted

if it's local good price if you don't mind fiberglass....if it has to be shipped then keep that in mind vs buying new

like i said shipping is the killer when buying new so if the guy is local it's not a bad deal as long as it's in great shape.

Re: Cowl hood. What u guys think?

well shipping is usually around $150 new so you'd be saving $100 in the long run which you can put toward paint. up to you in the end though if you think it's worth it to you

Yea if it's cervinis it's atleast 500. Check out latemodelrestoration.com if your looking at hoods. I bought mine from there and it's free shipping and the body shop that painted it said they have never seen a fiberglass hood that rigid before. And it's alot lighter then the stock hood. My car has the special tri coat red so it was like 150 more to get painted then a standard black or white or silver or just a normal paint job and mine painted was like 500 including punching holes and mounting hood pins. It had zero prep work needed
