I would be wrong if I was referring to a S-195; but this thread is refereeing to S-197, and the S-197 starting in 2011 was equipped with the Coyote 5.0.

And I think you meant SN 95. Which is the Fox Body.

Out of curiosity what do you mean by slow? Every mustang I've ever had was slow to me. I've had 2,3, and 4 valve stangs and my latest being a 06 I will give my input on it . Runs decent for a cai, exhaust, and tune car, but compared to a new edge, I hate the rear suspension!! They hop pretty easy stock. I believe for a bolt on or fi car I would go for a 3 valve, for a full out stroked built race motor I'd choose a 2 valve.

The saleen's look really clean! The stock Gt from the factory isn't very pretty IMO

I own an 05 GT and I agree about the looks. I'm not a huge fan of the new ones ether. Best looking is a 69

I'm not trying to make anyone mad, they just look so plan right from the factory a buddy of mine has a 07 with a saleen kit and wheels and it's so sexy! But just from the factory I think it's very boring. The 69 are very nice I like the 99-04 and the new 13 5.0 are sick, I like the fox body saleen's they look really good also.

I don't care for them. But I didn't remove mine cause I'm to blind at night lol. I think s197s have more potential( looks wise) but stock for stock I like new edges better

I'm talking about the design from 05-07. The 13s look nothing like those models at all.

gotcha, well the 05-09's have the same body, I have the 10-12 body style, then the 13 is all new. The S197 is mostly in reference to the chassis. just like all mustangs from 79-04 were part of the fox platform. there is yet to be any designation for the 10-12, although I have heard SN-10

Yea I knew that figured everyone knew what year I was talking about lol my bad. 10-13 I love the look and curves. The 05-09 they have a huge hood and a tiny little hood scoop that looks so silly and huge fog lights that are bigger than the head lights. And they just have no curves or cuts it's just plan like I said before with a body kit they really look good but from the factory not my favorite.

The new edge was unique they're a bit lighter correct? But ultimately I would love 1 of every body style produced.
