Sound with my clutch.

I got a sound coming from my clutch. When I have my foot off the clutch it makes a weird clicking sound but when I push the cluth in it goes away. I asked my mechanic what it was and he said it was just the clutch still spinning or something. And it was nothing bad. But i hate the sound! Anyone know how to get rid of the sound?

I don't think there's anything u can do without separating the tranni from the engine and taking a look. Maybe a bearing

How long has it been doing it? Is it getting worse?

Does it gradually get quieter as u press the clutch or is it sudden?

Is it a real consistent tick or does it seem to skip a few ticks at random?

No it's keeps the same tone and same rhythm as well. And since I had my stage two clutch and short shift put in. It's annoying and I just keep my foot on the clutch becaus it sounds so bad!
