I had the fuel pump relay go bad in the CCRM of my car, so I am getting a new one. Does anyone know if it has to be programmed to the car or if I can just plug it in and go?
I wouldn't think so, since you need to replace the module when the relay is bad. Seems like it would be specific for that application, so long as you bought the module for your year. Have you already confirmed you have no power at the inertia switch?
When I unplugged the fuel pump and turned the key on, The fuse blew. With the CCRM in there was a ton of resistance in the circuit, once I took the CCRM out there was no resistance in the circuit
Just replaced my CCRM today actually lol just take negative off battery terminal unplug your CCRM and put the new one in and out battery cable back on, easy as that man
You have to get the code from the ccrm as they are almost year specific. Most years are very close and only difference i have found by switching between them is that some have the ac relay wired in differently. You can also open the ccrm up and put a new relay in it if you know how to soldier
