pi motor and tune

Debating on pi conversion or just a pi motor swap. I know I'd get a few extra HP with just h/c/I but I'm pushing 160000 miles. So if I put the whole pi motor in could I still get a tuner? I read that numbers have to match or something. So if I swapped motors I couldn't get a banana tune. Any truth to that?

Bama doesn't do swaps. Start talking to a dyno tuner...

He is talking full engine swap. According to posts on here they do not do tunes for full engine swaps but I might be wrong. I know they won't tune for a 4v swap which is just a 96- up cobra

Re: pi motor and tune

They say as long as I have stock pcm and stock injectors. They can only tune for pi heads with stock stuff. I thought injector sizes were same between 96-98 and 99-04.
