Looks like it was chilly outside...? I bet that wasn't helping your traction too much. Nice video!

I wish that dang bumble bee was running at the same time. I wanted to hear your car. Sounds like the bumble bee was close to your friends vid camera.

Do they let you go through the course to get used to it? Also, was it ever tough to tell where you need to go?

Yes they did me and Bullitt were some of the first people there. We did a walk through and they gave us a map to get comfortable with. Yes it was the first run was tricky! I was like oh snap we're do I go now! Lol! But got used to it and kept dropping my times

Thanks Venomous! That was a great day. I know we would have dropped in to the high 50's if we had a couple more runs!

Re: Auto x racing vid!

which class did they put you in? i know around here just having an intake will kick you out of Fstock...as for your breaks swap to SS lines, Hawk pads, and 5.1 fluid and you'll never have issues again.

Me and Bullitt were confused how the classes were setup really. My friend with a 350z and just coilovers was put in the hardest class. Then there was another class were a bone stock Nissan Altima sedan was put with Evos and vettes really weird. Finally me n Bullitt were put with bmw's and some 4 bangers and a couple vettes

We were ESP which is a street prepared class. But we were running with 3-4 different classes each session.

That's a good tip! I didn't think about stainless brake lines, but it makes sense really.

yeah i like to hit up the Dragons Tail here between TN and NC whenever i want to work on my cornering. Since it pushes a cars brakes to the limits i really felt the difference when i changed everything over.

The official results are in! A new SS Camaro came in 1st, a fully stripped interior SRT-4 came in second, and I squeezed out a third place in ESP!

since you're in NC go online and google the Dragons Tail at Deals Gap. it's a road between TN & NC. i drive 4 hours just to drive that road for a day lol. You should check it out if you like pushing your car in the corners

Looking out at that sea of cones was a little intimidating, but after Venomous and I walked the course twice we had a better feel for what to do. Both of our runs were pretty slow because we used it as a chance to familiarize ourselves with the course. Each of us got faster with each additional run, and I feel we would have continued to get faster. Oh, and neither of us touched a cone all day!
