help on exhaust - Mustang Evolution

help on exhaust

i have a 2000 gt ans I don't know if I should go with a x or h pipe I has Mac catback system in and want to keep my car legal for emissions and not get pulled over and get a huge ticket so I want to go with a catted x or h pipe but don't know which one to choose

X pipes give you more of a raspy/ loud sound.
H pipes give you more of a deep tone.
Or you could even get a pro-chamber, that gives you more of the old school rumble.

Based off what you said, you will either want the H or Pro-chamber

what would you say about adding high flow cats to the prochamber? I thought about that but didn't know if it would sound the same or not

Idk about the cats I don't see why you couldn't do it, it will still be louder over Eric with the hi flow cats but I have the prochamber on mine and I absolutely love it!!!

how raspy are the catted x pipes? I like the deep sound of h pipes but I was looking at some x pipes because I can find better priced catted x pipes

and the prochamber was what I really wanted to go with in the first place I love the sound of it but don't want to get like a $500 ticket for no cats

I think it's a deep sound I also have Borla and I think it sounds good

I have a catted x pipe and Magnaflow exhaust, it sounds awesome. It sounds pretty deep. I'm sure you can get deeper tho.
