Intake tear down

For a while now my intake manifold has been leaking major amounts of coolant so I bought a new manifold and started tearing it all down. It's actually alot easier then I thought it would be. I love working on this 4.6 engine. I didn't get to far today due to having to go to work but I'll continue tomorrow, I can't believe people pay to have stuff like this done by shops, it's a waste of money

Re: Intake tear down

BigB, I took mine off and put on the charge motion control plates and new seals and it took me about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. It was real easy. That was also installing a new fuel filter

They are great engines to work on.
