17x10.5 question?

If I buy a 17x10.5 rim and I have a 275 tire right now in the back will my 275 tire work on that rim tell I can buy a 315 or will it look weird? Thanks and if not what will work on it? Also will 245 tires work on a 17x9?

Thanks Braxton.

You can run 245 up front if you like. I run 265 and 305 on my car

Re: 17x10.5 question?

The tires you want to run will fit on the rims you chose. A 10.5 rim can hold up to a 315, and a 9 inch rim can hold up to a 275, if I recall.

I run 18/9 front and 18/10 rear. Front is 245/45/18 and rear is 305/45/18. I didn't want a wider front tire because I am already low enough to where I don't want a wide tire causing turning problems on uneven roads. That's just my choice because Louisiana has terrible roads. Lol

Look at my pics in profile, they are 275 on 10.5.

This is 315 on same wheel.

235 on front 10.5s.
