I own a 2002 z28, simple bolt ons and it's faster then my 02 gt with full boltons stage 2 cam and built rear with 4.10 gears

No, my brother in law has a 99 Z28 with simple bolt on's and tune and it will smoke my car, and I have full bolt on's. There super fast respond very well to bolt on's

Well he wants to trade and it's worth quite a bit more than my gt anything I should look for on it it's pretty much stock

My Camaro is faster but it's an auto the mustang is a 5 speed, mustang is much more fun to drive

I've never had a ls1 car and it's an automatic , so my gt would prob be a lot more fun ,but hopefully I'll have a Mach 1 soon

You could trade for the SS and maybe trade to a cobra or Mach

Watch out for the rear ends in those things, they are weak, too many hard starts and burnouts and you'll be regretting it. Also if you have to do a tune up, I believe in the ls1 you have to take the front parts of the motor off and while youre there you might as well replace the water pump at the same time, that will be about a grand between parts and labor. Other than that it is a pretty good car. They can beat mustangs up to 2010, so they are quite fast. I have a 99 v6 and it is a great, fun little car, the monsoon sound system is pretty impressive for only 6 speakers, but finding replacements is a *****.

Why would you take the "front parts" of the motor off to do a tune up? I didn't have to in my 04 GTO with a LS1

That was what it was with the lt1, I thought it might be the same and I have no clue why.

Well I finally traded the GT for the SS he did quite a bit to it since I first talked with him about the trade. It is pretty damn fast.
