good pic, but the stock headlight alignment panel cover on non mach 1/cobras is NOT the same, the top lip is not there and the holes are not drilled. Its similar but not exactly the same, it will leave a gap. Buy the right part. The radiator cover as said will work. the pic you posted is the correct part.

Re: Cobra Front Bumper Cover ?s

I was modding my post so need one more answer atm...

So I buy the rad cover, cool.

Thanks guys you're saving my *** here!!!

What about this piece I think already have it:

Cool thanks, I need to get that asap because I'll be putting bumper on when paint is done next Wednesday.

I have this that came with Grille Delete, the replacement one in this photo:
http://images-ftp.americanmuscle.com...Img=16070_alt5

Guess I can't use that now?

Must not have searched the correct name on ebay, couldn't find it there.

Certifit has these but no picture:
Grille Mounting Panel (radiator opening panel)(03-04)Cobra Model

Nearest Certi that has it is 150 miles away.

Found this I think this is what I need, can anyone confirm?
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...e-Filler-Panel
Edit: Man it looks just like the exact part I already have from AM above, what do ya'll think?

Cover 112
Fogs bulbs 68
Bezels 44
Pigtails 23
Paint free

I had the radiator bezel piece. That was like 40 or something.

Oh yeah I still need the chin, 220 is the cheapest so far.

Cobra Front Bumper Conversion

What is needed to convert from a 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04 Mustang bumper to a Cobra bumper cover?

Stock List for conversion so far(cheapest prices on net when I bought):

Cover 112.00 Local Certifit
Fogs bulbs 68.00 Local Certifit
Bezels 43.60 CJ Pony Prts
Pigtails 23.40 CJ Pony Parts
Radiator Trim Flow through Panel 69.00 AM
Chin Spoiler 242.00 (OUCH!!!!!!) Tousley Ford, MN Ask for Steve in parts
Radiator Cover(somewhat optional, many choices) I have yet to decide whether I am going stainless in engine compartment so holding off on this for now.

Paint/prep 80 for me

Cody anything else I can answer for you buddy?

Note: Each local Certifit has different stock and different prices. Stock changes at each location as well. Also note that Charlotte had no Cobra hoods and was not restocking where Raleigh has nine. A discontinued item at one local Certifit may not be dis continued at another Certifit. They don't ship between wharehouses and are LOCAL PICK UP only. So you may have to search and maybe even have a local forum member do you a favor.

Cody had asked for this, good idea and I titled the subject so it will show up on Google searches for bumper conversion.

...and thanks for all the help on this guys, I'll post up finish pics next week when I'm done...

Re: Cobra Front Bumper Cover ?s

The radiator flow through panel I am trying to locate cheaper, that's just what I paid for it as an option on the grille delete I bought, I don't think it is listed as a separate part but AM will sell it if you call them and ask.

Will let you know if I can find cheaper option...

It seems so but I'll confirm what we have is correct when I do the install Tuesday.

Bezels are in... no mounting hardware for the bezels or the fogs, need to get some screws.

What do I use to attach this?

Nuts and bolts all around or do I need the special screws with the slide in clips?

You also need some u shaped cage nuts and screws. I think you need 5 or six of those. They mount on the notched out area of the spoiler

Re: Cobra Front Bumper Cover ?s

Ok cool.

Yeah I'll need 6 of those.

Then I've got 4 of those slotted tabs, one hole tab in middle and same size hole in each corner.

So I use the push rivet on all of those?

So 6 cage screws and 7 push rivets(same size-this will be determined by mounting holes in bumper)?

I'm not where the bumper is atm and am going to pick up screws on the way.

Thanks man, saving me some chasing around on a Friday!

---------- Post added at 12:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:31 PM ----------

Ok so i have 3 3/16 holes=rivets

and

4 1/4 slots=rivets, use same size as above to fit into bumper?

and

6 1/4 cage

That look right?

What color is your car, black or a dark metallic red?

Wheelstander or SpectorV I can't find the flow throw piece for the radiator. Originally I thought it was the same as the bottom lip of the Mach 1 delete but now that it's install time I've found out that it's not the same. I know you listed that it was on AM but I can't find it to save my life

It's an option on the grille delete for Mach 1.

I have it because it was an option I got on the Mach 1 Grille delete. You might have to call AM, they should be able to sell it separately because it came in a separate package when I got it.

Let s make sure you're getting the correct piece after you talk to them. Did you check Certifit catalog?
