Cut offs?

Im thinking if getting some cut offs to make it sound louder. What do you all think?

I get you. Just in my taste.. I'd either go electric or not. A system like corvettes and ferraris use.

Depending on where you put the cutoffs(cut outs) they will be loud, you can put them before the muffler or after the headers(open headers basically). If you maximum volume after the headers is where I would put them

Edit: also I'd go electric if price isn't an issue, or else you have to get under the car to open and close them

+1 I forgot to say that. Put them right after the headers.

just dump it after the muffler it will be louder, but it gives me headaches and can make the inside of the car smell

Turn downs are louder and you will be able to smell the exhaust. I'm otw to pick up car now. I had the pipes ran straight out the back. Like it was intended. The turn downs were nice but wifey hated the smell and sound being under us.

I had turndowns before the rear end on my stang and it rumbled nice, I hear electric cut outs can rust shut and burn the motor
