shocks and struts for lowered car

I lowered my car and never replaced the shocks or struts. American muscle has a great deal on the tokico hp's right now. if I bought them and replace my stock set up.. would it be noticeable and worth it? My stock shocks and struts have 60k miles

When i replaced mine they were toast but a new set of shock and struts will be better as in wider shaft, better valving and just all around better design.

Re: shocks and struts for lowered car

You could put shocks and struts from foxbody 87-93. I read they're better for lowered sn-95s. Give you better ride quality. Something to think about.

wolfstang03,

Tokico HP Series Struts are great for performance and traction and don't take away from the comfort of your ride. Even lowered Mustangs on rough roads or potholes won't be a problem!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Re: shocks and struts for lowered car

I replaced my shocks/struts with Tokico D-spec adjustable shocks/struts when I lowered and overhauled the suspension on my car. I haven't got to toy around with adjustability due to blowing my engine shortly after the overhaul, but I definitely noticed a difference in ride quality and dampening overall on the rough Louisiana roads.
