I changed my gauge cluster and hvac area lights out. I went for super white LEDs. They make the dash a bright blue when combined with the blue overlay that is already in there.

I bought the bulbs from amazon. You just need to research before on what type of bulbs are actually in there and how many. I know on my '99 I have 168/194 bulbs in my HVAC area (3) but I had to get (5) smaller 74 T5's ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002XI...5203188&sr=8-1 ) to be able to fit them in the slots in my gauges. Let me know if you need anything else.

Not hard at all. Remove the bezel around the shifter, the bezel around the radio and and hvac area and then 4 screws and it comes out.

Re: Interior

Keep in mind the stock overlay will determine what color is really displayed. On the older cars a simple white led swap will make the output blue...but on newer models, ~01 and up the stock overlay will need to be replaced for the output to be different colors.
